ABOUT ROMAGNOLI FARMS
Our farm’s roots run deep in the heart of Niagara’s Greenbelt, nurtured by generations of dedication, hard work, and a shared passion for growing the finest fruit.
It all began in 1919 when Camillo and Enrichetta Romagnoli, Italian immigrants with a dream, moved their young family from Toronto to Beamsville, Ontario. They had spent years saving to purchase their fruit farm, where they raised nine children and built a thriving orchard. Their second youngest son, Edward, continued the family tradition, marrying Jean in 1962 and raising five children of their own on the farm.
In 1973, Louis and Maria, driven by their hard-working spirit and a desire to provide for their family, left city life behind to start their farm in Beamsville. They settled into a century-old farmhouse surrounded by 14 acres of tender fruit—peaches, cherries, apricots, plums, apples, and pears—where they raised six children, instilling in them a love for the land and the rewards of hard work.
These two families have come together today through Jack, Ed, Jean’s youngest son, and his wife, Irene, Maria and Louis’s oldest. Irene grew up working alongside her family at Bizjak Farms before joining Jack in expanding their agribusiness. Now, with their two daughters, Ruth and Victoria, they proudly carry on the family tradition, overseeing a growing farm operation that includes multiple properties, all in the heart of the Niagara region.
Through generations of experience, passion, and commitment to quality, our farm continues to provide fresh, delicious fruit for families to enjoy—just as we have for over a century.
